The UK Mirror reports, "al-Qaeda fanatics in Britain are being taught to avoid detection – by pretending to be gay."
Why is this so unbelievable? Because Islam is about as anti-gay as you can get.
Shari'a, or traditional Islamic law, is based on the Qur'an, Allah's revelation to humankind, and on the hadith, sayings attributed to Muhammad according to tradition. Both the Qur'an and the hadith have been generally interpreted as condemning sexual relations between persons of the same sex.
"Reliance of the Traveller: A Classic Manual of Islamic Sacred Law" paragraph p17.0 titled Sodomy and Lesbianism states:
p17.1 In more than one place in the Holy Qur'an, Allah recounts to us the story of Lot's people, and how He destroyed them for their wicked practice. There is consensus among both Muslims and the followers of other religions that sodomy is an enormity. It is even viler and uglier than adultery.
p17.2 Allah Most High says: "Do you approach the males of humanity, leaving the wives Allah has created for you? But you are a people who transgress." (Qur'an 26: 165-66)
p17.3 The Prophet (Allah bless him and give him peace) said:
(1) "Kill the one who sodomizes and the one who lets it be done to them."
(2) "May Allah curse him who does what Lot's people did."
(3) "Lesbianism by women is adultery between them."
The Arabic words for homosexual behaviour (liwat) and for a person who performs such acts (luti) both derive from Lot's name.
Islam in practice and by ideology condemns sodomy. However, there is a provision in the Qur'an for Muslims to lie if it furthers the cause of Islam and establishing its dominance over the world. Lying for the good of the shariah Islamic cause is called Taqiyya (تقي).
Abdullah al Araby in his column "Lying in Islam" states, "[U]nlike most religions, within Islam there are certain provisions under which lying is not simply tolerated, but actually encouraged. The book "The spirit of Islam," by the Muslim scholar, Afif A. Tabbarah was written to promote Islam. On page 247, Tabbarah stated: "Lying is not always bad, to be sure; there are times when telling a lie is more profitable and better for the general welfare, and for the settlement of conciliation among people, than telling the truth. To this effect, the Prophet says: 'He is not a false person who (through lies) settles conciliation among people, supports good or says what is good."
Time for al-Qaeda to stop lying, tell the truth. MAN UP!
