Jasen Boston of Sarasota, FL charged with possession of child pornography

Sarasota Patch reports, "The Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office Wednesday arrested Jasen Boston, 25, 171 Golden Gate Point, following an investigation into child pornography, according to the Sheriff's Office.

Detectives with the Sheriff’s Office Internet Crimes Against Children unit, working with the Sarasota Police Department and U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) special agents, discovered at least 50 videos on Boston’s computer depicting sexual performances by children between the ages of four and 12 years old, the Sheriff's Office said."

According to Boston's Facebook page he lists his religion as a Rastafarian. The Rastafari movement encompasses themes such as the spiritual use of cannabis and the rejection of western society, called Babylon. It proclaims Africa as the original birthplace of mankind, and embraces various Afrocentric social and political aspirations, such as the sociopolitical views and teachings of Jamaican publicist, organizer, and black nationalist Marcus Garvey.


MAN UP! is glad Mr. Boston was caught. This is yet another example of the need for men to take responsibility for the actions of their fellow men. We applaud the work of Sarasota County Sheriff Tom Knight, ICE, HSI and those law enforcement officers who caught this person.
